Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
MELA is provided by Brady Jacob, doing business as Melaxind. This policy explains what information MELA handles and how it's protected.
What we handle
- Store data from Lightspeed: products, costs, prices, stock counts, purchase orders, vendors and sales, read through Lightspeed's official API with your approval.
- Supplier invoices you send in, as files or emails.
- Customer records from your store, only where a report needs them (for example, counts of new customers).
- Billing details, handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your contact details, such as the name and email you give us.
How we use it
Only to provide MELA to your business: reading invoices, building purchase orders, and producing reports and alerts. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with other customers.
Who else processes it
- Lightspeed, where your store data lives.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Anthropic, the AI provider that reads invoice files so their lines can be matched.
- Cloudflare, which secures and delivers MELA's web pages and email logins.
Where it's kept
MELA's working copy of your data is stored on computers and accounts controlled by Brady Jacob, protected by passwords and, for web access, an email-verified login. Access to your Lightspeed account can be revoked by you at any time from Lightspeed.
How long we keep it
While you subscribe. Invoice files are removed 14 days after their purchase order is entered. When the subscription ends, we delete your data on request, except billing records the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by email.
