Terms & Cancellation

These terms cover MELA, software and service provided by Brady Jacob, doing business as Melaxind ("we"), to the business that subscribes ("you"). If we've signed a separate service agreement with you, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms.

The service

MELA reads supplier invoices, matches them to products in your Lightspeed Retail account, prepares purchase orders for your approval and provides reports. MELA only changes your Lightspeed data with your approval, through Lightspeed's official API.

Billing

MELA is a subscription billed automatically every 2 weeks to the card on file, through our payment processor, Stripe. The price is the one agreed when you subscribed. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.

Cancellation

Either side can cancel with 2 weeks' notice by email. Billing stops at the end of the notice period, and you keep access until then. You can also manage or cancel the subscription from the link in any Stripe receipt.

Refunds

Payments for periods that have already started aren't refunded. If we bill you in error, such as a duplicate charge, we'll refund it in full.

Your data

Your store data stays yours. We use it only to provide MELA to you, and we delete it on request when the subscription ends. See our Privacy Policy.

Ownership

MELA's software, designs and methods belong to Brady Jacob. Your subscription is a license to use MELA for your own business. It isn't a sale or a transfer of the software, and it doesn't allow copying, resale or sharing access outside your business.

Responsibility

We check MELA's work carefully, and you approve purchase orders before they're entered. You remain responsible for your orders, pricing and inventory decisions. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
